This is a place where everyone is welcome and everyone's accepted. No matter your story, struggles, or past, you belong and we’re excited to meet you.

At Gatherings, we meet as one group for a Sunday service. This is a time of encouragement, music, and a relevant message with practical applications for everyday life.
We also have a Kids Church and a crèche that is open from 9:30am.

You're welcome to just drop in, but you can also let us know you're coming so we can welcome you and answer any questions you might have.
Lifespace
2nd & 4th Sundays
Various times and locations.
These are smaller groups that do life together — it’s where people at Local really find family. Lifespace is an opportunity to explore faith in a safe place, unpack the Bible, ask the big questions, and connect with each other.

What To Expect
Gatherings
A Gathering service usually goes for just over an hour. We’ll start with songs that help us connect with God.
Don’t worry if you’ve never heard it before, the words will be on the screen so you can join in if you want to. You can also use the time to reflect, pray, observe, or whatever you feel comfortable doing. After that, we’ll have some prayer or hear people share their life stories.
One of our pastors will then share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus for roughly 20 minutes.
Lifespace
Lifespace gather in homes: you can expect quality food, good company, and great conversation in a laid-back atmosphere.
We’ll watch a short video prepared by one of our pastors, then have an open discussion on that topic. If anyone in the group is facing life challenges, we’ll also take time to look after one another.
Stuff For Kids
Gatherings
If your kids are in Kindergarten to Year 6, we like them to stay in the service for the music. After that, they can head out to Kids Church for the remainder of the service.
Kids Church is split into two age groups: Kindergarten - Year 3, and Year 3 to Year 6. During Kids Church, children engage in games, craft, song and dance, and Bible teaching.
We also have a Crèche for babies and toddlers under Kindergarten age that opens before the service at 9:30am and is open until 12:00pm.
You can check your kids in when Kids Church starts and sign them out when the service finishes. All our Kids Church volunteers have active Working with Children Checks and have completed our Child Safety Training.
Lifespace
Every Lifespace is different. If you have children you’ll be bringing along, let us know so we can match you with a group that has stuff for kids.
